XCOM only needs a mouse for that turn-based game (or an XBOX Controller I guess - don't own one) and to hit the 'Esc' key on the keyboard to get to the main menu (out of the main screen of the game to save the game or load a game, change Options). I am just playing stock GalCivII right now.

There is the High-Resolution MOD if you have a computer that can handle it (and the game does not require a high-end computer at all but does need that 4Gb Patch program talked about to continue on a game on a Gigantic or Immense Map).Д«ut this mod where he talks about combining MODS has the link to his MOD and the High-Resolution MOD and combining the APT1.3 version MOD (not his MOD) and the High-Resolution MOD on a link in the first post on that page - he shows how to do that. I downloaded it, but have not used any MODS yet.ДЇirst is the thread on MODS on the forum, the second link is about the APT1.3 mod of Altairns whoever he is, and the third link is downloading the MOD APT1.3. The APT1.3 version which makes some aliens do more I guess. Some people say you need a mod for GalCiv II.

Get tired, must rest, take the medicine, and all of that lately. Well, back to some game trying to play any game lately. I have not played far enough to ever get a memory error in the game before that.Д«een playing another game lately that really just gets to me compared to the first version of the game instead of the Expansion that changes things in the game and that is XCOM Enemy Unknown, but the Expansion XCOM: Enemy Within really ups the ante in the game is harder.Д«ut like the original game back in 1994 - XCOM: UFO Defense - well yes, the same but different, and in the new version and that game a player seems to get so far, and then it throws a mission on you that usually eliminates most of your Squaddies or all of them, and then gets even harder until you get technology and skills for your Squaddies and can finally perhaps even - win the game on Classic Difficulty which is more difficult a lot than the Normal Difficulty. I did load up a Saved Game and played a few turns, and now also started up a new game on a Gigantic Map with 5 aliens. Or you can play perhaps in a lower resolution, lower graphics like other people stated that may work also - perhaps. Of course being on Steam now, if you verify file cache, Steam may change it back again. So that is what you use I guess, I do not know, I have not tried it. It automatically creates a backup copy of the original executable.

Well, I don't know and the new game will be 64 bit instead of 32 bit because 32 bit has memory limitations.
